Review on Design Engineering 050134 Boom Mat Grey Sound Deadening Headliner Compatible With 2-Door Jeep Wrangler (2007-2010) by Danny Poulin

I bought a set for my JK which is a 2016 Jeep Wrangler 2 door. The set arrived in a large box that was a little wrinkled in transit. Although when checking the content it turned out that everything was fine. When I finally got to the installation, I found that the kit was missing two pieces of "groove filler" foam that held up for a smooth assembly on the surface. Since I had the roof off and was waiting for help to put it back on, I went ahead and installed the panels without them. The installation went smoothly. I followed the instructions exactly, especially when preparing the surface. Adhesion has been excellent so far with no issues. There was a bit of distortion where the missing parts were, but it's coming from behind and isn't really noticeable. What I really noticed after installation was that the cabin was much quieter and cooler! Even in 90s temps, the soft areas stay comfortably cool where previously the inner roof panels were almost too hot to the touch. They don't radiate heat into the cabin like a bare roof! Overall I am satisfied with the product!
