I bought these to hang around the edges of our covered patio for more shade and privacy. They arrived more or less on time and I literally laughed out loud when I opened the box and looked at the product. Lord, have mercy! They look like brown plastic drinking straws sewn together. In some places the seams were broken or missing entirely. These shades DO NOT roll. They have no built in strings/strings so you can raise and lower them. The head is not actually attached to the blinds and will slide completely off the "straw" sheeting if you hold the blinds upright. Plastic straws are very thin, downright thin. A strong wind will most likely rip these things apart. There was a large damaged area on one edge like it had been pulled or chewed - maybe a UPS shipping issue who knows but the packaging was poor as was the product. To be fair if you just want to provide some shade and/or privacy, if you never hang your blinds, if you hang them in a spot where there is no wind then this shade will work you for a possible summer. I doubt that cheap plastic and inferior tailoring will stand up to much scorching sun. Probably the most useless product I've ever bought here. So thankful for Prime and their free returns!
