The hangers are shiny. Excellent quality. Shoulders stretch very easily from child size to adult size. They have a tongue and groove system that is very easy to use by simply depressing the tongue and pulling the lever outward until it clicks into place. The trouser hangers have removable trouser clips that can be used on all hangers. When you don't need them, you can just pull them out and store them until you need them. The trouser clips are attached to the retractable part of the sleeves and grow with the child. You can use them to save space in your closet by clipping them together around your neck. Very good quality plastic. I've bent it several times and it doesn't break like the hangers sold in clothing stores. So no sharp edges where the little ones could hurt themselves. I haven't broken any yet and they have survived being trampled on by children. We bought many packs for our kids from 3 months to 5 years old. Worth every penny.
