Although my living room chairs are in very good condition, I wanted to change the colour. I've used inelastic cases and they are PITA because they need constant adjustment. I looked at several elastic cases and settled on this brand. It took a while to get the covers to fit properly and I used some screw pins and a construction stapler to secure the covers to the chairs. Then came the big test when I sat on the chairs for a while. When I got up the covers stayed in place so no adjustment was needed! Oooh! I have fabric upholstered chairs and these covers adhere well to the fabric. The trick is to pull the lid tight and use pins or staples. I think if you're using these covers on a vinyl or leather chair, you'll probably need to adjust them frequently. It's a soft, smooth, knit-like material and quite thin. The attached photos show both of my chairs. I bought the dark gray color but they look like medium gray in the photos but in real life they are more of an anthracite colour. I am very happy with this purchase and will probably purchase a cover for the loveseat. .
