These snap at a glance. I had to triple bag the contents of a 6 gallon compost bin that was half full just to keep the contents from breaking the bag. It's also not sharp and pointy. You are very, very thin. They barely fit in the bucket, making the flimsy material even more of a problem. Getting on and off from the rim of the glass was difficult enough, but they also ripped when you carefully tried to slip one pocket into another. We warn you that the packaging has a terrible smell when you first open it. It doesn't stick - the bag doesn't smell in the bin - but the first smell can be off-putting. That may be what other reviewers have in mind.
