Review on 🚙 Hooke Road Wrangler TJ Dash Tray: Ultimate Interior Storage Organizer for Jeep Wrangler TJ 1997-2006 by Justin Ferguson

I just installed this in my TJ. The idea of adding extra storage space to an unused part of the dashboard is really smart. However, before sticking the tablet on, I checked to see if there was indeed a problem reading the VIN, as another reviewer wrote. Of course, the VIN is completely blocked. If I ever had to remove the center console to fit a new radio, do wiring work, etc. I would have to try and pull the tray out. To get around this, I decided to use a few strips of velcro with a sticky backing to secure the tray. The Velcro strips are thicker than the included tape so the tray doesn't stick to the dash, but that's a small price to pay. Pay for the ability to remove it without damaging the pallet or dash. If the manufacturer had used velcro instead of tape and changed the manufacturing specifications a bit, it would have been flush. All in all a good buy for $$$.
