Easy connection to any 12V, 14GA. Cable. I had 5 lights in minutes. The hardest part is screwing the wires to the landscape light. My big complaint is the crappy nut. As others have pointed out, nuts aren't made for outdoor use, you bury them in, so consider them wet all the time. Thanks to someone's suggestion, I ordered some waterproof cable connectors. Paradise, pay another $0.50 and add some matching connectors. I also bought mold resistant silicone in a tube at the recommendation of others. I plan on putting a little on either side and wrapping it with electrical tape before burying it. Finally no instructions! Not rocket science, but it took me 2 tries to calculate 14 ga. The wire should lie on its side, wires up and down and not lay flat/side by side. [the teeth are misaligned, but that doesn't mean you straighten the wire]
