I had to test a long (400ft) 1-1/2" PVC pipe before burying it to make sure there were no leaks. Once I got the right fittings I sealed the line through a Schrader valve and let it sit overnight, it lost a few psi but I attribute that to a temperature change in the pipe (in hot sun then cool morning shade), buried the pipe and that helped .pressure that day.After a couple of weeks it was slowly losing most of the pressure (perhaps a small leak in this unit or in the "Oatey" end cap with the rubber stopper I used for the other end ?).All in all it worked.for work.
