The jib and height are truly impressive, but be prepared to fail! I tried using it with a kick drum and of course they were big mics and I tried to reach it with my hand but that seems to be the point of the stand. Small feet are not well balanced. I tried one length, not even fully stretched, and towards the leg that was still very wobbly. I started with an AKG D112 with perfect balance and no extension. I lengthened the AKGD112 that needed balancing. I used CAD E-100 with the same effect. I tried a Shure SM58 with 75% aspect ratio which pushed it over the breaking point. I understand people don't like this product, but it works in small spaces and is lightweight; You just have to plan a little in advance!
