I have sliding doors in my kitchen that open to the backyard. My neighbor behind me can see my house just like I can see his house through his sliding doors. We are friendly but privacy is nice too. This closed my sliding doors to provide privacy but allow a view. I like being able to see. It was perfect for my needs. I took a picture before we were done so you can see the difference between a normal window and a chained window. As for the rating when he asked about cleanliness. I didn't know what to answer. It's not transparent, but you can see through it. I was very happy with the end product. I hope you enjoy it too. I ordered 2 rolls to cover my doors. Tries to crop image to close it. Much luck!
