I bought it for my 5 month old grandson. This is absolutely his favorite teether. The latch is solid and will NOT come loose until an adult's fingers release it. he withstood his tugs/tugs as well as the tugs of a small group of rather jealous babies and toddlers at his daycare who were trying to win him over because the kids seem to be in love. it actually looks just like an Oreo! He chews not only cookies, but also pearls, and they are strong, strong, and even traces of his sharp teeth are not visible. ALSO every adult who sees it thinks it's just the coolest thing (no kidding, it REALLY is!) and wants one for their kids or as a gift. This is the best buy for baby products. I have the black one which is great, goes with all of his outfits and again looks exactly like an Oreo. If I ever need a gift for a children's party, this will be my first order. everyone will be happy who gets it. You really can't go wrong with this purchase.
