I'm not sure why this mop vacuum isn't so popular. All you hear and see is a shear wave. I too fell for the hype and have a cross wave as a result. We started looking for another mop vacuum because after less than a year with Bissell we noticed that the suction power just wasn't the same. Puddles formed in some places. I was so excited to get this I installed it right away! After letting it charge for four hours and reading the instructions, I got to work. First impression: oriental laying, looks beautifully modern, durable and of high quality. I was skeptical about the smooth brush as the shear wave brush has stiff bristles. I was surprised to learn that you only need to use one capful of the cleaning solution, which is very little compared to the amount you need to use for a shear wave. When I turned it on I was initially surprised that I didn't have to press a button to get the water out, it happened automatically. It doesn't use a lot of water, but it does a great job of clearing out even stuck clutter that my crossword was having a hard time dealing with. It is very light and manoeuvrable. The cleaning of the tank and brush area was also better as a cleaning tool was provided and the design of these areas that collect dirt does not have all the nooks and crannies that has a shear wave and is very difficult to clean. Definitely much easier to clean, and even self-cleaning is better! There were also no sticky hairs on the brush. If anything changes in the future I will update my review. But I hope that I will be able to enjoy this car for many years to come.
