Poor design and functionality that calls into question how well this unit performs not only in terms of reliability but also SAFETY. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT unless you wish to fry an item at 110V. The product advertises an adapter function, which means that it will supply 240V through the device when plugged into a 240V socket. The plug on the front of the adapter is an American-type plug with a grounding pin. There are serious problems with this design.1. The package does not include a plug adapter from USA to abroad.2. 240v is supplied to the US plug - if you plug in a device that requires 110v it will damage it. This is also a security issue.3. The device claims not to be grounded, however the US 240V adapter plug on the front has a grounding pin - this could lead someone to believe the device is grounded which again is a safety issue.4. The device is not UL certified and has no other certifications - there is a lot of trust in this Chinese company. This unit burned my Keureg coffee maker at a cost of $120. Buying this device will maintain a very, very bad design and a win for a company that frankly doesn't know how to design a power conversion device for home use. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM.
