I have a lot of hair but that's ok. Even though my hair is shoulder length, these bands can't hold it in place. I have to knot my tie four times to make it tight enough to hold my hair, which makes the tie thicker than my ponytail. An hour later my hair is slipping out of the paws of the tie. They should be bought only for owners of very thick and long hair. Again, these people may need to regularly adjust their tie to keep it from slipping. The colors are very pretty and will go with most hair colors or match a variety of outfits. As the ties were so cheap it's not worth returning them so I'll probably give them to a friend.
