I have never seen a balloon burst into a million pieces when it bursts. These are extremely dangerous. We have parties here all the time with lots of balloons. We have an automatic balloon pump that we have used for many years and I have never had a problem. The balloon burst while inflating. It tore into 100 pieces, leaving lacerations on my son's chest, eyelids, and mouth. We're so lucky he didn't lose an eye. It looked fine at first, but when he woke up the next morning it was cuts! When the party was over mom and dad popped all the balloons with a needle and they were completely different from any other balloons we had in the house and we had over 500 balloons. I don't know if it's material, chemicals or something else, but these things are extremely dangerous, handle them very carefully. In addition, the points attached to it did not last more than an hour.
