Review on Wireless Earbuds for TV - Avantree HT380 by Kim Flores

I bought this device to replace an old Sennheiser model that is no longer manufactured. I was hesitant at first after reading some of the reviews, but after setting it up and testing it works great! This was bought for my father-in-law who is hard of hearing and his old Sennheiser only gave out in one ear and recently broke up. The great thing about the Avantree model is the setup. The main unit plug/cradle connects to your TV using a variety of methods (e.g. fiber optic cable, composite cable, etc.). The headset unit has a neck strap that you can wear around your neck like a pendant, it's lightweight and you can use any type of 3.5 jack headset with it. Much better than the older model where the bottom of the headset was heavier and could fall out while watching. The great thing about the headset is that it has a button so when we talk to my father-in-law he can hear us through the built-in microphone without having to pull out the earbuds or put in his hearing aids. Big! The device also comes with a spare battery that maintains a charge while in the base. Definitely happy with this purchase and so is my father-in-law. His quote "Thank you!
