The thing is huge and closes the table very well. The seams along the edges are soft and comfortable. The surface is very smooth and comfortable for all day wear. I took two other mouse pads and the first one was too small. I wanted a mouse pad that would fit under my keyboard to the front edge of my desk and allow my mouse to be where I've always used it. A seamless mouse pad that offers keyboard comfort, familiar layout and range. I took the largest branded backlit rug and it was a lot less comfortable. This was my third attempt and it is absolutely perfect. No lighting effects, but I gladly traded that for maximum comfort.
