If you're reading this you think you've stumbled across a lot. Well it depends on what your priority is. I liked these at first glance. I would give 5 stars for the color alone. Very beautiful dusty pink color. Feminine but not girly. However, the feeling was a bit off for me. I've compared it to my 100% Westelm silk pillow (so you know it's real silk). They didn't slip over my fingers like a western elm pillow. I added a few pixels. You can see that they have just the slightest texture compared to western elm. These pillowcases are comfortable to the touch and lightweight. However, in my opinion, this is not real silk. Upon inspection, I found a few strands that I wanted to burn test. You can see they are not as silky as hair. At first I thought it was the thread used for the stitching, but I added that as well and you can see they don't match. Upon ignition, I smelled a faint odor of singed hair. However, they burned down to a hard piece of plastic. Real silk turns to dust. To me, at best, it's a mix of silk mixed with another synthetic material. So if you are comfortable with something that is beautiful, feels good and is heavy but not 100% silk, this is a great option. Value. For myself I would rather invest that money in a better product to have my peace of mind.
