Bought this because I wanted to attach it to the binding to build a magnetic tangram machine. He adhered perfectly to the binder. It took 4 sheets to close the room as shown. The forms were foam. I just received a regular roll of magnetic tape to stick the figures on. The strength of these magnetic sheets isn't incredible, but they've held their shape pretty well. Holding the binding up keeps the forms in place, but shaking them hard makes them fall off. Haven't used them for any other reason but they did what I needed. I gave the thickness three stars because I don't know what that means, but the magnet is pretty thin. Is that good or bad? I do not know.
