Review on πŸ’― Improve Your Viewing Experience with HP M27Ha FHD Monitor: Full HD 1920X1080P, 60Hz, Tilt, Height & Swivel Adjustment by John Murphy

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I should have researched more. Not what I need

Overall, this monitor is probably perfect for everyday office and business use, as well as basic home use like web browsing, emailing, etc. Then why such a low rating? I do graphics, animation and design. I'll admit my previous monitors weren't the best, but their colors were always good enough to get the job done. When one of them suddenly failed, I wanted a new one quickly and cheaply, so I impulsively chose this one without doing enough research. I'll start with the positives: the 27-inch size is really good, slightly larger than the Dell monitor that failed. (His sister still works next to it) I really enjoyed using it to surf the web. It's clear and easy to read. The stand is pretty decent too, easy to raise, lower and tilt. Another solid upgrade for an old monitor. It has multiple input options. I use display port. It also has built-in audio, which seems to work directly from the Displayport connection. It came with an audio cable in case you're connecting using a method that doesn't support audio. Cons: This is where the monitor falls apart for me. Everything is light and unsaturated. hazy grey. There is color adjustment on the monitor, but even turning up the brightness and contrast had almost no effect. Color modes are too intense to be useful (warm, cool, and other presets that change color drastically). I just need something with a better color scheme. After all, it's my fault for rushing and not doing enough research. I will use this monitor on another system where color is not that important, but it will not stay on my workstation. Final Verdict: This is a solid monitor if accurate and deep colors aren't important to your use. .
