I bought this filter a year ago and it fits well. This year the filter came with a rigid flange at the bottom, whereas previously it had a flexible flange. As a result, the other end protrudes from the filter holder, the lid does not fit, so no seal. The picture shows the tops of an old (dusty) filter (purchased a year ago and installed a few months ago) and a new one. A simplified return policy helps a lot, but it would be better to have the right product. first time. Avoid this filter for Hoover wind tunnel vacuums! (Bought for model U5725-960) UPDATE: I bought a filter from Hoover at the same price for just one ("Hoover Long Life Hepa Cartridge Filter"), but the flange is flexible and fits/seals perfectly in the Vacuum. I would recommend this instead of this product.
