I bought these bricks for my 1 year old 2.5 years ago. This is the perfect size for a toddler starter kit. My kids loved all the pieces especially the guy with the car. We later bought Haba Fantasy Blocks which add a lot more detail to the set. I recently pulled out these blocks for our 8 month old son and his older brothers love building towers for him. Surprisingly these blocks still look like new which is rare in my home (I have 5 boys aged 9 and under) and I'm sure I'll be keeping this set for guests long after my kids are out of them are out.
