Doesn't always grip early in cutting
I use this product to cut strips of paper for a project. From time to time I find that it doesn't catch the paper at first which causes it to start squeezing. I just flatten the paper and press harder or start at the other end of the paper. The measurements are in cm only, it could have been my fault if I misread the product description.
