Good decision if you can get a deal on it. These are some advantages: For four cashiers and a penny, I purchased it at a discount. These are excellent ears for the cost. They rest quite comfortably on the head and make no pressure points. The emphasis is more on the top and middle rather than the high bass, as I initially thought. I listened with a hi-fi amplifier and an external audio interface. These are obviously primitive for the final mix, but they are a fantastic solution for listening and basic audio processing. Cons are: Your ears will perspire if you sit in them for a long time. Also, the cable, which is fairly long and not removable, occasionally obstructs the route. I want to be able to swap it out.
