Strong, a bit rough and creaky, which means the skin is too dry in my opinion. It looks good, fits perfectly and the colors are beautiful. I have bought other "Amish" tanned leathers locally and they are supple and flexible. I'm not saying it's not a quality product, just a little bit different than expected.
