I bought this when I moved in and my new closet was a little smaller than my old one - not by much but just didn't have as much floor space as before. With my shoes lying all over the place I figured a hanger would help, especially since I had extra hanging space. I looked around for a while, both at Bed Bath and Beyond, CVS, the local dollar store, etc., and while they all had at least one or two products, they were either too long or too short. , looked cheap etc. This one seemed to be the perfect size and looked decent, not cheap or crappy. The only problem was that my shoes might not fit - I'm a guy and I wear trainers so I was hoping to put a few pairs in. I would disagree with a reviewer who said that men's tennis shoes or sneakers are not suitable. They're a little tight, but I have no problem putting both shoes in the same compartment! You could also just hang one on each side, although that would reduce the capacity to five pairs, so it might not be practical then. I'm happy with the hanger - I can easily fit a pair of sneakers, two pairs of dress shoes, a pair of sandals and two pairs of bike shoes (with cleats!). I will post a picture in the customer pictures section to show you what it looks like. The price isn't bad either - not amazing given that it's just fabric and a couple of metal hooks, but certainly reasonable and, as I said, better than other options I've explored.
