My husband has severe carpal tunnels in both hands and needed support that he could carry and continue working while awaiting surgery. He's a mechanic and velcro/padded braces don't go well with his job. I will say that he has very large hands and that might be part of the problem as to why they weren't working properly. He liked the fact that they are so thin but still don't rip which is a huge bonus. But they were so restrictive (again, perhaps due to the size of his hand) that after several hours of wearing his hand cramped almost as badly as it would without support. They have been highly recommended by two different ladies we know who wear them and if there was more than one size fits all maybe he would be happier with the results.
