It uses very little power when not in use and I ordered a remote control so it can be turned off when not needed at all. The inverter is very efficient (91%) and has a great price for its reliable high quality, durability and amazing performance. Perfomance. It features GFCI AC outlets and a toggle switch for on/off and remote settings. The plugs are very durable and the included plug covers increase safety. I am very happy with this inverter and Go Power helped me a lot with my decision. They are very willing and open to help customers. The device is even UL listed. It's fantastic value for money.
