This mount was great for the first 6 months

Having used this 5 days a week for almost a year I would say I am an expert. This mount was great for the first six months. No problem. But later I noticed that the base gradually gave way to the weight of the iPad. The suction cup began to lose its grip. It should wet the suction cup a bit and that should help the hold. First it worked for a few months, but then it started to fail. I was so desperate I even bought some crazy glue and added some but that didn't help either. Now I'm back to the drawing board looking for a different iPad car mount. It's really sad because I really enjoyed it at the beginning. Unfortunately, based on my past experience, I can't recommend it now.
