This is the most complete manicure set I have ever seen and all the tools are of very good quality. There are a few tools that I don't even understand what they are for, although the adverts have pictures of how to use them. There are flat bladed tools and those blades are VERY sharp. I used one to push back my cuticles very easily and it also removed the old polish with a light touch. A small amount of the nail also needs to be removed, but it's so sharp you can't see it. I wouldn't use it like that too often, it's really easy to get too aggressive with these tools and end up with a very thin nail surface. This set includes a split end skin cutter that works very well. I was looking for one when I lost mine and the only one I found was so flimsy and cheap it barely worked. This is an amazing set and I can't imagine you will ever need another manicure tool if you have one. At $14.99 definitely a good buy.
