Installation on my 2016 Tahoe was easy. The GPS showed me the middle of nowhere. Driver's side handrail handle, driver's side sun visor, driver's side sun visor end latch removed, pulled the corner of the headliner down just far enough to remove the 10mm screw from the old antenna and replace with the new one. There was water in the old antenna, which is a common problem mentioned in the Chevrolet Bulletin itself. A small layer of clear silicone has been added around the new gasket on the antenna to improve the vehicle's water resistance. Plugged in and works perfectly.
