I'm using my PI as a 24/7 PLEX Media Streaming Server to get started. The original fan that came with my Raspberry Pi 4 only had a red (+) and black (-) wire that was always on and it was very noisy. When I read that PI now includes a configuration feature that allows you to enable a fan that turns on when the CPU reaches a certain temperature, I looked for a fan with a blue wire (GPIO input). , you get improved thermal synchronization that keeps the entire PI cool, as well as a programmable blue-wire fan (GPIO). It's so small that I would fit in my clear case. Surprisingly, even at 5V, the fan is quieter than my old one. So far I am very satisfied with this product and have not encountered any problems with it at the moment.
