I was looking for sensor lamps because my mother has advanced arthritis in her hands and she cannot operate the lamp switch. I also find the touch function useful. I like that it has three modes of operation and the lamps come with a set of good three-way bulbs. The assembly of the curtains was not difficult. Having figured out the first one, it turned out that assembling the second one was much easier. Shades connect with Velcro after completion, neat and secure. I wondered if I would really use the built in USB port and ended up charging my phone through it for the first two days. This is a handy feature. Aesthetically I like the look of the black iron and the light but textured hues. These lamps should work with many decor styles. A few inches shorter than I usually buy but they look great on living room tables and the bright settings provide plenty of light. Good lamps.
