Review on ViewSonic VG2448: The Ergonomic DisplayPort Monitor with Anti-Glare and Widescreen IPS Technology. by Nick Summers

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Sharp picture: my rating

This is my first ultra wide and so far I'm loving it. I mainly use it for viewing text with lots of windows open, so I can't comment on how good it is for gaming or streaming. The picture is sharp. If your PC only has one video port (like a regular laptop), this monitor is a good alternative to a dual monitor docking station. Looks good when my eyes are about 2 feet from the screen, but the left and right edges of the screen are close to the LCD's viewing angle limits, so a potential buyer might consider a curved screen monitor depending on the viewing distance. and what you use it for. (I look at a lot of small text, but if you're watching movies or playing games you probably won't notice, especially if your face is more than 2 feet away.) Your computer needs to have a decent graphics card to handle the process app. . 410 sqm inches with a resolution of 2k. Five Benjamins is a bit pricey so it's not really five stars but so far that's my only complaint.
