Description of πŸ”§ Accu-Gage S60XA: Dial Tire Pressure Gauge with Bleed Valve - Swivel Angle Chuck, 5-60 PSI Range

Gauge has a full geared, precision movement with bronze bourdon tube; unlike piston-plunger-type gauges, the bourdon tube movement is not affected by changes in temperature, humidity or altitude. Swivel angle chuck makes it easier to reach tire valves. Durable steel case with polished brass bezel, stem, pressure release valve assembly and a 2 inch dial. 5-60 PSI steel case gauge (recommended for tire pressures 15-45 PSI). Needle holds pressure reading until released and a pushbutton valve bleeds air to desired tire pressure.

Not the sharpest tool in the shed

Well it looked fine in the box but after 2 minutes the reset lever flew out of the barrel and I wasted 15 minutes on the search for him. The only thing that seemed to hold it back was some friction from the O-ring, which wasn't enough when I checked my SUV's tire pressure. Definitely classic craftsmanship. This tool holds the record in my store for the earliest death.

Pros
  • Gauge has a full gear, precise mechanism with bronze Bourdon tube; Unlike piston gauges, Bourdon tube movement is not affected by changes in temperature, humidity or altitude
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Reliable and easy to use

This is a huge improvement over all my previous tire gauges. It is easy to hold in place with no air leakage, the pressure reading is instantaneous and easy to read. I particularly like that the reading is held until the pressure release button is pressed. This button is used to deflate over-inflated tires so you don't have to guess how much air to deflate. The device is solidly built. It's a bit big in the glove box, but all of its best features contribute to the size, so it's hard to complain

Pros
  • Steel case gauge 5-60psi (recommended for 15-45psi tires)

Excellent tire pressure sensor.

Excellent pressure gauge. I bought it to use on my vehicles. I am very happy with its performance. It reads accurately, holds an air pressure reading until you reset it with a bleed valve, can bleed air accurately with a bleed valve, and has a large, easy-to-read dial. This little sensor is solidly built. I bought a rubberized case to protect the sensor housing. I look forward to it for years to come. I like it more than electronic sensors because it's simple and doesn't require batteries. I…

This is the best pressure gauge I have ever used

The dial is very easy to read and the accuracy is top notch. I compared this sensor to three professional sensors and there was a 1/2 pound difference. I bought it to monitor tire pressure on a new car, change pressure to get the best ride and check tire pressure every week. I had a digital meter that was accurate but the readings disappeared after 10 seconds. This Accu-Gage freezes readings until you press the unlock button. I'm not a fan of the twist angle chuck, but that doesn't matter since

Accuracy or a hundred small corrections

My experience with tire gauges began with pencil gauges at the age of five when my father taught me how to take a few samples to evaluate an idea that I later defined as accuracy. Until I bought this sensor last year, I was still using pin sensors and got along without them. When I had to change the performance tires on my new Scion and realized how much it meant to me to extend the life of my tires, I decided it was worth investing in a more accurate sensor. I've never used a digital meter, so
