ACDelco 25186687 Original Equipment Ignition Review

Bought for a 2011 Chevy Cruze LS, a couple of coils were broken and oil was leaking out of my valve cover into the spark plugs. Both exchanged and the check engine light no longer lights up!

I ordered this for my 2012 Chevrolet Cruze 1.8L Ecotec engine and it was defective so I wrote to the supplier and they sent me a replacement free of charge. I just have to return it within 30 days.

I had a problem with my 2013 Chevy Sonic 1.8 with misfires on cylinder 2. I first replaced the spark plug but the problem persisted. I then bought this part to replace my coil pack. It was a direct OEM part, it fitted perfectly and solved my misfire problem.

Like most parts these days, they weren't made in the USA. The good news is that they are not made in China like 95% of other products, but in Mexico. These are genuine GM parts and will fit and function like genuine parts. They continue to work perfectly.

This thing doesn't work at all. Don't waste your money. It's completely broken. It looks new but it doesn't work on the machine, it doesn't work on the tester, it's totally useless. The part number is correct, but none of the 4 tips give a spark. He's dead. I want my money back!

I had intermittent misfires on cylinder #2, mostly at idle. I've seen on the internet how the hard plastic under the rubber boot is becoming brittle and breaking. I installed a new coil pack and it fixed the misfires immediately. Out of curiosity, I cut off the rubber boot on the old #2 coil. Of course, the hard plastic collapsed, allowing the spark to escape. Easy to fix even for a novice mechanic. I recommend this coil pack as it is a GM part and fits perfectly.

My car had a random cylinder misfire code. I first replaced the rather old spark plugs but that didn't solve my problem. Then I decided to replace the ignition. Here it is! I saved a few hundred dollars by doing the diagnostics myself (you can get an OBDII car for $20 - they charge you $80 from the mechanic). Replacing this part is much easier than with spark plugs (fewer fasteners are needed). The car has been running for a few months now and so far so good.
