The good things are the great display, the intuitive OSD controlled by the rear joystick and vertical selection buttons (I didn't bother to read the manual), the up/down/tilt/swivel stand and that solid chassis. I bought two as a set, fresh out of the box, one was missing part of the screen, one wouldn't even turn on. However, I liked the mechanical properties and overall design and wish they were of better quality. both went back.

edit: The halo effect I had was actually because I set the overdrive setting to "extreme" when testing, after switching back to normal it no longer occurs. So overall it's pretty good for gaming and as an external monitor for MacBook Pro. Pretty good for gaming with Xbox One s, but very bad ghosting when used as an external monitor for Macbook Pro. I will return it for this reason.

Went to 4k from a 1080p monitor and it's beautiful. It has a stand that you can use to raise and lower the monitor and was surprisingly light and easy to set up. The built-in speaker isn't great, but I wasn't planning on using that feature anyway. love it love it love it

I used one for a dual monitor iMac setup and liked it so much I had to buy another for a 3 monitor setup. The bright, high-resolution screen gives me a system that allows me to zoom in, view the stock market, trade stocks in Excel spreadsheets, and follow email without hiding any of it.

I really like this monitor but the colors on it look a bit strange compared to my LG 4k LED monitor. Another thing I don't like about this monitor is that things disappear very quickly when you look at it from an angle above; If I just stand in front of my desk and look at the screen, the fine details at the bottom of the screen become completely invisible.

The picture is good, so far I'm satisfied. The only downside is that the included HDMI cable doesn't support 4k resolution at 60Hz, it only works at 30Hz. I switched to Displayport and it worked fine.

Connected as additional monitors for imc. This monitor did not work at all. Poor quality all round and the on/off switch position and OSD access was from the back and very small. Not many adjustments could be made. Surprise for Acer, but lately it's history with their monitors.

Good balanced budget monitor. It was decently bright, has speakers that are rare in monitors, and at 28 inches it's a nice size. The only noticeable limitation is the panning options. The monitor can be raised and lowered, but only tilts slightly and cannot be rotated left or right. The stand is also quite heavy, which is both a blessing and a curse as it stabilizes the monitor.

Bought this monitor to help with my photo editing, no regrets, nice color display. During setup, note the two power buttons that need to be pressed to turn on the monitor, the main power button, and one of the four function buttons.

It is wonderful. The size is just right for my setup. The brightness is excellent. The resolution is good for HDMI but fantastic for DisplayPort! I strongly recommend using the Displayport option. Colors are great, no flickering. The height adjustment is also a very nice feature. It's also good for leaning.
