I bought two of these monitors to have two monitors + a laptop. I bought them primarily for work, not gaming or visual creative work (e.g. photo editing), so image quality wasn't a priority. The display is a bit pixelated, but that doesn't bother me. I do not recommend these monitors if you are looking for high picture quality. This Acer monitor is perfect for my needs. I cracked my MacBook Pro's screen and left 1/3 of the screen black! Acer compensates for this error! I'm getting it on my laptop as much as possible and it works great! This model will be a great addition to even a perfect computer. I love that it doesn't have speakers, I already have good computer speakers on my computer, or I can connect it to external Bluetooth speakers or a speakerphone. Got 2 monitors, 1 had back blood. At the price I almost complained badly, but at the end of the day I got a new one. works perfectly. Not a gamer so I wasn't looking from that point of view. This is part of a three screen matrix designed to keep pages open for reference. This is a good basic monitor with crisp, clear images. However, if you shift the viewing angle slightly to the side or down, you will get a different effect of any dark color elements. If you move the corner up, the image will be partially blurred. I recommend this monitor for users who stay relatively still while using it - then it's great.

I needed a second monitor for my home office and honestly didn't feel like jumping through hoops at work to get a permit. It was such great value that I decided to pay for it myself. I have relied on Acer's 11" Chrome Book for my hobby of storing and reselling LEGO sets. I spend a lot of time looking at tutorials on the internet. I love my Chromebook, but the display just isn't made for prolonged viewing. It was also difficult to distinguish some dark colors. This monitor makes everything so much easier, with brighter colors and more detail. The monitor was easy to set up and makes my hobby more enjoyable.

I have set up dual monitors and the new Acer I bought is intermittently not being recognized by my PC despite trying to use display options/settings/multiple monitors. I ran countless diagnostics on the PC but then searched and found for Acer monitor issues. It is recommended to check and update the drivers. It took a little while to get all the settings right, but once I did it was great. Nice big screen to match my laptop. I use this for my work from home. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it came with a damaged VGA cable so I had to buy a new one to get it working.

It's a great monitor, good value for money, great picture, I use a speaker so not sure if the sound meets all my needs. Functionality!

Increasing school work and increasing the number of virtual meetings. For the last 6 years I have always used my Surface Pro as a laptop. It was just convenient for my lifestyle. In any case, this extra monitor comes in handy for viewing my virtual meetings and being able to conveniently view information on one screen and enter data on another.

This monitor does not have an HDMI port. Later I wrote in the description that there is no HDMI port. All new monitors have this connection. I wonder how old is that thing?

With falling monitor prices, this size is becoming increasingly rare. But it fits in the space available, which we appreciate. Installation was easy and quick.

Just use it for my computer - my old one died and I needed a small one that would fit on my desk. Its shape is different from my old one (oblong rather than square), but it serves the purpose. It took me a while to find the controls and once you find them they are difficult to set up. I mainly use it for email and card games.
