Certified Refurbished Acer R240HY Bidx HDMI Monitor Review

I cannot say enough good things about this monitor. For the price it delivers great colour, sharp images and works great with the M1 Mac mini. I had to use an HDMI to USB-C adapter, but money well spent.

Received the refurbished monitor quickly. The packaging was good and the monitor looks unused. Bought for 79.99 which is almost half the price of this new monitor. This is my fourth R240HY and in my opinion a good value monitor for gaming and work. Will update soon if something goes wrong.

This worked for a couple of hours, then I noticed small lines (lines not present on my other 3 year old monitor) in addition to the solid colors. After a while, the monitor started flickering black and the top part of the display was all torn.

This is an excellent monitor. Liked its brightness. For me as a person who works with a monitor all the time, it was just perfect.

I think I got lucky, maybe in a renovated area. Received today in perfect condition. It still had plastic wrap on it. Plugged in and with a very slight green tweak it looks fine. I could immediately report the improvement in my game graphics. Good choice for the price even if you're buying a brand new one.

One thing about Acer is that their products have served me well over the years. This also includes their brand of monitors. I highly recommend this monitor as it is clean, bright and comes with a solid stand. A+++

Can you remove the currently unenviable and few available elements of the sales promotion algorithm? Very boring . Great monitor.

This monitor looks great. The speakers in the monitor did not work. I have chosen not to return it due to screen issues in other reviews. If you don't need sound, you can't beat the price of a good monitor. I was able to use PC audio instead.

Out of the box the product looked pristine and perfect on the outside (the box was intact and well packaged) but when I plugged it in the display looked like it had been hit with a hammer (the electronics were smashed behind the perfect one). Screen). - Only 50% of the screen could be used. Due to travel I didn't bother to return the request within 90 days and they said I was out of luck. Terrible customer service. I will never buy ACER products again. Unbelievable. It was clearly never tested…

Dead pixels, horrible screen quality and the thickest screen in the world which I would have ignored if it didn't feel like the screen was taped to the screen with cheap duct tape. Wouldn't buy again.

Refurbished worth 79.00. For basic needs, use Linux Mint 20 and major Steam games. Great as a replacement monitor. Works as described.

I ordered a factory repair monitor from them which I took to be 'like new'. It had a streak of dead pixels, but ACER didn't send me a replacement. That annoyance aside, this is a great monitor, very light and good looking.

There are no dead pixels, good cosmetics on the outside. A small defect in the screen but not noticeable (it took me 10 days to notice), only b4 starts the operating system. Definitely worth around $100. I would buy another official Acer Rehabbed product.

For watching YouTube videos and working, this monitor is great! It's very pretty and handles graphics well. I bought two and had to return one due to poor fit in the corner of the screen. The exchange works great! So far, so good! I use them every day! The only drawback is the lack of mounting options. I bought a dual monitor stand that required additional adapters to mount the monitors. But for the price I can't beat it!

I never leave reviews, but in this case I felt it was necessary. The product arrived completely defective. None of the buttons worked, the power indicator did not light up, no devices connected. When plugged into a power source, the Acer logo flashes green for just a few seconds, then turns black. I don't know how this can be considered a "certified repair". Definitely not recommend.
