Installed in my old Dell Inspiron 3721 which was very slow at originally 4GB. After the installation I ran a Dell Ram base test and a Ram stress test, both tests were successful. Now the laptop works much better. Tip: If your old laptop is still slow after a memory upgrade, there could be several reasons, but one of the main reasons is an old hard drive causing swap errors. Disable paging to maximize performance.

As a system builder and repairer, you'll quickly discover that RAM can be fickle and it's always better to never go cheap. I bought this memory to upgrade my workstation laptop to 32GB RAM. This is especially useful for those of us running memory-intensive applications like virtual machines. Now I can run two of my virtual machines at the same time and have enough memory for my host machine. I have long refused to upgrade from the 16GB my laptop came with. But it was too expensive to drop by and I'm glad I upgraded.
