This product is well made but the design is not perfect. I thought it was a martingale style solution, but if you look closely it doesn't pinch your pup's neck. The martingale's design is similar to a choke collar, but does not block the airway (it has teeth). This collar has teeth, but without the right taper, it won't clamp properly. It also tends to roll over when my dog pulls. It's a shame because everything else about it was actually quite nice.
