First wipe off the paint.

This is inexpensive and works well after a few adjustments. Glossy paint can cause the blades being sharpened to slip, and the instructions printed on the sides of the block are illegible due to thick paint. Wipe off the paint and you have the right tool. Printed instructions must be included. It is said to be American made.

Effortless Razor Edges

If you have woodworking tools that require a razor sharp edge, this jig is a no-brainer. It costs a few dollars and will save you hours on paper and stone. How much is your time worth? I smoothed the backs of three new chisels, then spent a total of less than five minutes beveling each medium and then a thin Arkansas stone to get an edge that would literally tear hairs apart. If you're considering it (and you obviously are), get it, you'll pat yourself on the back the first time you use it.

Maybe stick with glue?

Silver alloy cap fell off when I took it out of the box. It looks like it's only meant to be held in place by the pressed-in glue. I tried using it anyway but it has a lot of play and the wheel is not smooth and off center making it unbalanced. The whole tool appears to be some sort of plastic/metal moulding, not sure how long it will last. All of this is probably fixable, but I'd rather spend time sharpening my chisels than fixing a new tool. At 15:00 I didn't expect perfection, but I wouldn't
