Didn't need to pump air, just squeezed the airbag

It works well, the pads can wander if the corners aren't quite even though I thought, but the adjustment was quite easy. My ankle is heavy now, Roger, so she's temporarily retired. A few days ago I had a relapse, the protection was good, the relief came quickly. Money spent not in vain on the recommendation of doctors.

Right Price

I bought a similar product at my local CVS pharmacy for $34. Was looking for Revain looking for something cheaper and found this product. I had a sprained ankle and the pain didn't go away. I have worn this product, not 100% comfortable but it works. It's been almost 2 weeks and the pain has subsided. You get what you paid for and have to say it works.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Great Price

Like the fact that I can change the air pressure in.

I bought these to ease my transition from hiking boots after wearing them for 12 weeks due to a fractured 4th and 5th metatarsal. It really helps with ankle stability and the fear of twisting my now weak ankle and breaking my leg again. I love the fact that I can change the air pressure in this one. The plastic air cushion sticks to the foot, so I recommend wearing longer socks underneath.

Pros
  • Nice Design
Cons
  • Faulty

Great product at a good price

I was gifted this air cushion orthosis after an accident in Canada. Their emergency service charged me $90 for it but they said I could find it cheaper when I got back to the US. It's amazing, and in fact I got rid of the crutches sooner than without them. When my ankle swells up after a long walk, I use it again. It is comfortable and has many adjustment options. It is also very easy to pack in a suitcase.

Poorly made. Just pay extra for the original Air Cast.

Don't waste your money. Just pay more for the original Air Cast brand. I sprained my ankle and bought this to use in addition to what I got from the podiatrist. (You have to wash them, so it's "backup") I had it 3 days. I wear less than 3 hours. It's falling apart The airbags are hardly fixed inside and when they are put on they move. It's thin and uncomfortable.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • There is negativity

Comfortable but not as durable as Air Cast

I wanted something supportive like the Air Cast brand (sorry I spent a little more on the signature brand) I will say it is very light and comfortable and you can regulate the amount of air in the pockets. Unfortunately I was looking for more stability and found the plastic too thin and the whole thing too wide to fit in my shoes. I ended up finding it comfortable and durable enough to easily sleep and move around the house, but I had to use my real Aircast if I had to be on my feet for long…

Great Product Leg and Foot Rests

Bought this for my wife to use for work. She wore it every day, she had a job, and it kept her ankle straight. Air cushioning is great because you can add air for more cushioning. I don't know if it was a bad design but we removed one of the pads because it didn't fit around her ankle. The only issue I see with this is that it is not suitable for people with large calves as the straps are not long enough. It only works if you remove one or both pads and also the tub to put more air in the pad…

Helps greatly in recovery from an ankle sprain.

Rest, ice, compression, and elevation are the best ways to treat a sprain. Having sprained my ankle while on vacation the other day, I knew from previous sprains of the same ankle that once the initial swelling has subsided a bit, wearing an air-cushioned brace is extremely helpful in getting yourself back into action. It keeps the ankle and foot in a neutral position to help it heal and allow you to move around much more comfortably (using a cane or crutches if needed). Unfortunately I…
