It's very frustrating going through the process of choosing and then realizing it just doesn't work. The microphone is fine. The second microphone, as many have noticed, crackles, pops, disappears, and when you turn off the microphone, there is too loud and annoying feedback.

Very thin microphones The weight is at the top so it feels like they're going to fly out of your hands unless you have a chokehold on them. Decent sound quality except one of them was broken and squeaking loudly. Right of return within 30 days.

I loved the AKG brand BUT very disappointed. I only moved 2 feet and there was a lot of static. through the speakers. I used to buy TONER wireless mics and use them with the same speakers, and the TONER mics worked great over a very long distance (from the basement to the upstairs bathroom). These AKGs have terrible reception---I'll be back and I'm very disappointed.

I bought these mics a few years ago, I DJ in clubs, weddings and weekly karaoke. AKG microphones are always with you. You have served me very well. I've bought mics from other brands like Pyle, Sampson etc and those mics couldn't survive two years of karaoke in a busy bar. The AKG keeps going and sounds crystal clear, I've never had a problem unless the battery dies, which is rare as they are energy efficient. I have been an audio engineer for many years and have used many different wireless systems. There was a problem right out of the box. Channel A generated excessive RF noise when Microphone A was muted. Also, when Microphone A is out of range (about 20 feet), the same noise occurs. Even with channel A volume turned off, the noise leaked into both outputs. Channel B worked well and the range was good up to about 100 feet. The mics sound decent, but body and handling noise is negligible at best…
