This mat is ideal for clean painting. This is a good size for my little one. The handles are leaking. Water spreads over the mat making it very difficult to draw letters or details. The carpet takes a long time to dry, which is probably due to the amount of water that the feathers release with regular use.

Large rug and very durable. My 3 year old loves it. I noticed that after drying it left Marks "stain" with water (see photo) and the water pen caps were screwed on backwards. Arrows are posted telling which direction to turn to open and close, but in fact the opposite is true.

Bought for my little brother who likes to play with water. He was very eager to use it, so we only had a small container of water with him. I liked that the mat is waterproof. There is also a "hidden" alphabet limit. Generally good for learning shapes and letters.

Bought for my almost three year old grandson. He loves to! It seems well done. There is a small tear from folding during transport, but it did not affect the use. You should follow the instructions and soak the pens for a few minutes before using. Remember that the threads are upside down, so don't get frustrated. This is a great idea for Grandma's house or to take away.

This rug has an amazing concept! My toddler has been using it every night since we got it! She enjoys painting with squares of different colors and watching her creations emerge. I don't love mess. :) My only complaint is that the two brush holders don't open. My husband finally opened one of them but we couldn't open the last one. All in all a great product! Highly recommended.

This is a good rug for my son as he likes to play with it. He's still young (19 months) so he's basically just drawing little lines on him. If we want to play on the carpet, he asks for a pen and then plays on it for a while. The only thing I don't like is that the handles aren't easy to open and fill with water. We only use one handle that we can open and fill with water. We only have one child, so far so good.

I ordered this for my 3 year old who loves to paint. It comes with several pens, a drawing pad and several stencils. My son isn't very interested in stencils so he never uses them. I love the fact that this rug comes with multiple pins because we can fill multiple pins and if one runs out he can just grab another.
