The rulers were in very good condition, packaging/delivery by the seller is not very good. I'm sure they were new BUT they looked used.

These templates make quilting an easy task! They still need to fit together nicely and have a neat quarter inch seam, but wow what a difference, what a great template! No picture yet as this is a gift and it's still a secret!

Acrylic is good but they don't have smart corners so you can't just align the corners and sew. The quilt is beautiful, but not worth the frustration caused by the ill-considered design of the so-called patterns.

The patterns were great but if I had to do an Alaskan quilt again I would buy precut fabric. It wasn't worth the time it took to cut over 1000 parts. However, if you wish to use your own fabrics, you should do so. Note that according to Editya, the corners of the stencils have been trimmed so they don't hit you, so you don't have to trim the corners of the fabric if you don't want to. She has a nice video on You Tube on how to cut these patterns.
