Extremely cute - bad glue

My daughter and her cousin had so much fun with it yesterday! They spent a lot of time making their two piñatas to perfection and were very pleased with the results. Love it, Kawaii and my daughter are planning to hang their unicorn/donut from the ceiling. They had one complaint - the quality of the glue was terrible. It seemed that the glue could be very old. It was a mixture of dryness and stickiness, and it just didn't stick to anything. The kids made up for it with the glue we already had…

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Not everything fits

This is a creative activity for ages 6+. The kit includes everything you need to create two different styles of piñata: taco/watermelon and donut/unicorn. The peel-off stickers on each side of the piñata are hard to come by, but once removed, all the decorations easily stick to the piñata. Each pinata has a valve so it's easy to fill with candy or other treats. We didn't try to break the piñatas so I'm not sure how easily they will pop open. This is a fun do-it-yourself activity for younger…

  • Easy to assemble

Awesome craft

Super fun craft! Not quite like the piñata you buy for a party, but still fun for kids to make and look at without being a grueling project. These are not layers of paper mache; The structure is prefabricated, similar to how they are made in a shop today. There are enough materials to make two small piñatas the size of an adult's palm. This will be a very fun activity at the party. Children can fill it with candy, etc. and take it home as a party favor. You can add your own extra decorating…

  • Great for a small house

BYO Glue and Scissors is a great idea that needs better execution

My 3 year old and I have the same craft skills so we made this set together. It was definitely a doable project for a preschooler and parent even if he says 6+. However, we were disappointed that the glue was useless (good old Elmer works great with these materials). As the fringes of the fabric are not trimmed, you will also need scissors (not included) to shape the sides. The instructions are simple and not very helpful; It's easier to just look at the photo and go from there. They don't tell

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Fun and easy to assemble

My kids love piñatas. When they see one in a store, they want it. When they are at a party with one of them, they are overjoyed with excitement. We made another pinata kit a year ago and they still have miniature pinatas that they made. So I knew this set was going to be a hit with them. Although the set only comes with two ready-made piñatas, you can decorate either side for four different designs. The great thing about this kit is that the mold is already built. In the last set we had to fold

Easy enough for kids to make without help

My 7 and 10 year olds had a blast with the ALEX DIY Pinata Party. I inspected the set and they assured me that they could do it on their own and after about an hour they both brought me their creations, both of which looked amazing, with great success. This set came with very easy to follow instructions. You can make 2 kawaii style double sided pinatas. You can match both sides perfectly or make each side look different. My kids made a combination with theirs. Everything you need is included…

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • there are nuances

This is a fairly easy craft. As a simple adult pastime this would be fine, it is intended for ages 6+ and worked well with my 6 year old. I've done this with kids ages 4 and 6. 6 year old was able to make a basic kit. (Also, he doesn't have very good coordination for his age, so he's pretty average in terms of crafting, not ahead.) So age 6 and older seems accurate. The 4-year-old didn't actually make the piñata but instead was excited about the idea of filling it with candy and eating the…
