Poor build quality on men

I bought a new pair of altars tomorrow the 3rd and returned them on day 1 as the shoe came off because of one of the signs. Received a new pair as a replacement which was fairly quick from the company but after only wearing them 3 times they peel the same on each shoe. Not the build quality I'm used to from the Altra. This shoe seems to have this problem in the same place as other reviews with the same problem.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Not as thick as other alternatives

ATTENTION! No grip here

The sole of these boots has very little grip! I bought these shoes in the middle of my Appalachian hike and was utterly disappointed, concerned and at times scared as I slipped at every opportunity. ...once it resulted in a dislocated shoulder. I ended up tossing them in the trash with a satisfying bang after purchasing a more reliable pair of Olympus 4s. I remember these boots and hope they burn in hell!

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • No insurance

Nice clothes, shoes and jewelry

It looks like a stretchy sock with a soft foam sole. These are great shoes for hard surfaces and heavy traction. The only downsides are the shoe lacks structure (my feet get tired after a few days of wear) and the clover-like lugs are spaced apart and lift you high enough that the bugs can't be spotted. Murder.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Long wait

ATTENTION! There is no grip here

The sole of these boots has very little grip! Possibility...once it resulted in a dislocated shoulder. I ended up tossing them in the trash with a satisfying bang after buying a more reliable pair of Olympus 4s. If you're shopping for hiking boots, toss them and find something with a Vibram sole. for the memory of those boots and I hope they burn in hell!

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Almost everything is there

Poor build quality: Chassis

I bought a new pair of altars tomorrow the 3rd and returned them on the first day as the boot came off on one side. Received a new pair as a replacement which was fairly quick from the company but after only wearing them 3 times they peel the same on each shoe. Not the build quality I'm used to from the Altra. This shoe seems to have this problem in the same place as other reviews with the same problem.

Pros
  • Heavy duty
Cons
  • High price
