Economical whip antenna with an excellent low profile. I'm not usually a fan of these whips, but the SWR is good over the advertised range.

The antenna I first received was not stiff perpendicular to the connector when used at a 90 degree angle. It simply flipped over when its orientation was more than +/- 15 degrees from vertical or when there was vibration on my work surface. Nooelec quickly solved the problem by sending me an antenna that didn't have this problem. Thank you for the excellent customer service Nooelec.

I liked that it was made by Scott's awesome gadgets for their HackRF and allows a newbie like me to understand how to use their SDR

It spins but is not easy to start. You'll probably break it if you try to rotate it with the antenna. I use pliers but press with a silicone pad. Now it moves easier after the first release. I can't deduct many points because it does what it's supposed to and looks good, but it lacks in terms of value.

After tightening the connector, the antenna does not rotate. So, after tightening, if your elbow is pointing at 45 degrees, that's all you have. There is no way to point the antenna straight up. Doesn't help if you're trying to use it on an RTL-SDR dongle as the dongle doesn't secure the antenna to the side. Cannot be used on some devices. TOO EXPENSIVE NOT TO SPIN BY DIFFICULTY!
