After using it for a long time I have found that these fans are not suitable for me as they do not generate enough airflow. Noise wasn't a big problem for me. They are quiet and work well in very low flow applications and are so weak that at full power there isn't enough force to lift a piece of fabric. I didn't send them back but felt like I wasted my money.

Just because the fan turns on doesn't mean it works well. Check the airflow of these fans. They barely exhaled. They don't cool the components.
